#OpEd: A Voice For The Voiceless: The Birth Of A Revolution, By Christiana Clajus
I am a voice crying out in the wilderness—a voice for the voiceless, the oppressed, the forgotten, and the enslaved. I speak for millions whose cries have been silenced for generations, for the marginalized who have been crushed beneath the weight of injustice. I do not stand alone. I represent a people bound by the chains of systemic oppression, a people whose dignity has been trampled upon, whose voices have been ignored, and whose suffering has been normalized.
For the past seven years, I have endured the weight of this same oppression—a system designed to silence, suppress, and break the human spirit. But what was meant to destroy me is instead birthing a revolution. A revolution that will not only give a voice to the voiceless but will also free the oppressed, regardless of their color, nationality, or ethnicity. This movement is not just about me—it is about justice, freedom, and the restoration of human dignity for all people.
I refuse to be silenced. I refuse to be intimidated. My voice will not waver in the face of injustice, for I stand on the side of truth, justice, and righteousness. Like the great leaders before me, I carry the torch of those who fought for freedom, equality, and human dignity.
I come in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who once declared:
“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.”
Like him, I dream of a world where no one is judged by the color of their skin, their background, or their place of birth, but by the content of their character. I stand against hatred, for I know that:
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
This is my mission: to be a voice for justice, a beacon of hope, and a force for change. I will continue to speak until the oppressed are free, until justice is served, and until the dignity of every human being is restored.
The time for silence is over. The time for change is now. A revolution is rising.
