I am not just one woman.
I am a voice,
A voice for the voiceless,
A heartbeat for the broken,
A cry for every soul silenced in the shadows of injustice.
I am a voice
I speak for the vulnerable,
The weak, the downtrodden,
The forgotten lives buried beneath systems
that were meant to protect them, but instead, erased them.
I am a voice
A voice for every mother, father who weeps unseen,
For every child – boy, girl whose future was stolen
For every heart shattered by injustice
and forced into silence.
I am a voice
I do not speak for myself alone,
I speak for those who cannot speak for themselves,
For those whose truth was buried,
For those the world turned away from.
I am a voice
Crying out in the wilderness:
Let my people be seen. Let my people be heard. Let justice prevail.*
Though they may try silence me,
But I rise –
Not as an echo,
But as a declaration
For This Cause, I Was Born
For this cause. I am called.
